1. User Data Collection

Both Excellent Data Filler and Excellent Data Filler [DEV] collect only the minimum amount of data required to provide core form-filling and data management features:

User settings, shortcut mappings, autofill rules, and custom data templates created by the user. This data is stored locally inside your browser via chrome.storage.local / chrome.storage.sync.

B. Account & Authentication Information

C. Authorized Google API Data (Optional Features)

  • We do not record, monitor, or transmit values entered into form fields outside your browser.

2. User Data Handling and Usage

All data processed by Excellent Data Filler extensions is used strictly in accordance with the single-purpose policy of the extension—automating data entry and form filling:

  • Automated Form Filling: Extension settings and data templates are evaluated client-side in your local browser instance to auto-populate input fields on web pages you navigate to.
  • Account Verification: User login details are checked against our secure production server (stable.edfiller.in) or dev server (dev.edfiller.in) solely to confirm active license plans and sync settings across devices.
  • Google API Workflows: Google Sheets and Gmail data are processed strictly upon direct user action (e.g., pulling row data from a user-specified sheet to fill a form).
  • No Secondary Uses: Collected data is never used for creditworthiness checks, personalized advertising, user profiling, or selling to third-party data brokers.

3. User Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Local Storage Architecture: Data templates, field matching rules, and user preferences are retained locally in the user's browser using Chrome's native storage APIs (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on your physical device and is never uploaded to external servers without your explicit action.

Encryption in Transit: Any communication between the extensions and our backend infrastructure (e.g., account licensing at stable.edfiller.in or dev.edfiller.in) or Google APIs uses Industry-Standard HTTPS encryption with TLS 1.2 / TLS 1.3 protocol.

Data Retention Period: Local data remains stored in your browser until you manually delete your templates, clear browser extension storage, or uninstall the extension. Account metadata stored on our servers is retained as long as your account remains active and will be purged upon deletion request.

5. Google API Permissions & Limited Use Disclosure

Both Excellent Data Filler and Excellent Data Filler [DEV] request specific Manifest V3 browser permissions. Each permission is strictly required to provide core form automation and data processing features:

You can delete stored data templates or clear extension storage directly from the extension settings page or by uninstalling the extension from your browser.

You may revoke Google API OAuth access at any time via your Google Account Security Settings.

Request Account Erasure

To request permanent deletion of your account metadata registered on stable.edfiller.in or dev.edfiller.in, please send an email to edfiller.team@gmail.com. We process erasure requests within 30 days.

9. Refund Policy

We offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:

  • The extension fails to perform its core form-filling functionality as described.
  • Unresolvable technical issues prevent normal operation despite support assistance.
  • The refund request is submitted within 30 days of initial purchase.

Exclusions:

  • Requests submitted after 30 days from purchase.
  • Cases where the extension functions as intended but does not meet non-advertised custom requirements.
  • Disputes raised prior to contacting our support team.
